HOW IT WORKS

SoftPoint is an integrator solving the interconnection problems that have delayed the deployment of EMV throughout the marketplace. Our technology allows us to connect to Point of Sale systems, even Legacy systems, to be able to process secure EMV, contactless, and swipe payments if needed efficiently and securely. Our patented innovation is the ability to connect with a Point of Sale system without having to physically be connected to their user terminals. More importantly, we don’t connect to any ports on the actual terminal, thereby eliminating the ability to see any data and ultimately be breached. We eliminate the information from going back and forth between the terminals by creating an internal payment cloud within the merchant’s environment which allows the merchant to efficiently process payments, while taking their entire Point of Sale System and even Legacy Point of Sale systems, completely out of scope.

This approach enables us to speed up the EMV and Contactless payment process. Today, we offer our patented DataPoint Retail, Restaurant and Hotel products on several payment terminals, like Clover, Poynt and PAX. SoftPoint also runs on its own smart payment terminal called the AIO.

ADDITIONAL CHARGES  DataPoint can be configured in key regions to manage convenience fees, cash transactions and or additional service changes for services rendered. Monies can then be then sent of seperately from sales.   DONATIONS  The screen shown to the left is a simple donation selection page that you can deploy in order to obtain or offer donations.   SURVEYS  Datapoint has built in pages to allow to offer a survey to be prompted to the customer at key points in the process.
CUSTOMER RELATIONS SIMPLIFIED LOYALTY DataPoint offers online receipts inorder to gain opt in information   The AIO payment process allows the client to select the method they would like to receive their receipt. In todays world have your receipt emailed or text is a convivence that all customer are asking for.   AIO allow the user to enter their email or phone number, unique to AIO is the ability to store the relationship of the customer. This way the next time the customer purchases he will be promoted for this receipt choice but will not need to reenter his email or mobile number.   Our method will expedite service and will at the same time allow you to gather customer opt information about your customers. You can then use that information to promote new offering to the customer. You can also use this information to determine a customer that is not frequently visiting and offer them incentive to come back.
ORDERING LINE BUSTING TO FULL ORDERS DataPoint is not just a payment terminal.   Unlike other options in the marketplace, DataPoint provides for the ability to do so much more. One of the key features is the ability to do ordering from the same payment terminal.   This allows the user to use our terminal for table ordering, line busting or even, with its 4G capability, take it into the field and take orders and still be communicating with the integarted point of sales system. Don’t let its size foul you, DataPoint can handle complex ordering including bundling, roaming discount, modifier management, fire order, SKU look ups, multilingual ordering, and so much more.   We are integrated to to your point of sales, which allows us to show the same menu that the user would see on an a terminal. This means that as prices change and items are removed, DataPoint is in Realtime receiving those updates also allowing for the operation to benefit form this functionality.
UP SELLING PUT YOUR TERMINAL TO SELL SoftPoint has built in intelligence that analytically looks at the customers purchase.   Using predefined rules Softpoint can trigger to the customer options in which the cashier and or customer may have over looked.   If the customer choose and item AIO then prints a chit so that the cashier can immediately see that he has to fulfill the request. We then also update the point of sales system so that there is proper recording all the way around. The entire process is seamless.   As well we can build upsell advantages to insight the customer. Example, if the customer did not buy chips we can prompt that if he selects them now he can purchase the chip at a discount.   This logic can be turned on and off remotely and can also even be implemented to take place by time of date, region, type of order, etc.
TIPS TIP SELECTION OR TIP ADJUSTMENT Whether you would like to run as you do today with traditional tip adjustment or whether you want to run true pay at the table with Tip selection DataPoint has both to offer.   TIP SELECTION  SoftPoint can be configured to accept a tip selection at the time of payment. The tip selection allows for the client to choose how much to tip. Statistically servers receive more tips when the customer is faced with entering a tip amount.   TIP ADJUSTMENT  Softpoint has build in logic to allow for traditional folio presentation to the customer for payments. A server will simple print there the receipt as they do now, bring it to the customer. The customer will offer there credit card. The service will process there credit card and return with a receipt where the customer can add the tip. ADVERTISEMENT OFFER INSTANT GRATIFICATION DataPoint allows you to add advertisement to the payment experience.   Ads can be added before or after the payment. The ads are based on the rules that you preset, at a store, region, territory, brand or corporate wide.   Unique to any other platform is that the redemption can be automatically offered when the customer uses the same payment source.   We can also couple our offering with any loyalty program that is put in place. Whether card based, id based, QRcode based we can easily implement it into our environment.
